Stay Policy
By completing your booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions governing your stay.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request and subject to availability.
House Rules
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
Parties, events, and excessive noise are not permitted at any time.
Children are welcome by prior arrangement — please inform us at the time of booking.
Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children must be always supervised by an adult.
Parents and guardians accept full responsibility for the safety and behaviour of children during their stay.
Guests are expected to treat the property and its contents with care and respect.
Quiet hours: 10:00pm – 7:00am (New Year’s Eve exception until 1:00am)
No parties or disruptive behaviour.
Alcohol may only be consumed within your accommodation or allocated site, without disturbance to others.
The Black Barns At Puketitiri is a smoke-, vape- and drug-free property.
The Black Barns At Puketitiri reserves the right to refuse entry or evict guests immediately, without refund, for breach of these rules.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation terms carefully:
Cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival will receive a full 100% refund.
Cancellations made between 8 and 21 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date will not be eligible for a refund.
In the event of a no-show, the full booking amount will be charged and no refund will be issued.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking if the terms of this policy are not respected. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
We strongly recommend that guests obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
Damaged & Lost Items
We take great pride in maintaining our property to a high standard for all guests. The following terms apply to damage and loss:
Lost or damaged keys, remote controls, or access devices will be charged at replacement cost.
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, fixtures, or equipment caused during their stay.
Any damage must be reported to us as soon as it occurs.
The cost of repair or replacement of damaged or missing items will be charged to the guest’s card on file, or invoiced following departure.
Excessive cleaning required beyond normal use (e.g. stains, spillages, pet hair where pets were not agreed) will also incur an additional fee.
Lost or damaged keys, remote controls, or access devices will be charged at replacement cost.
Liability
The Black Barn At Puketitiri accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage to guests’ personal property during their stay.
Guests are advised to ensure their personal belongings are covered by their own travel or personal insurance.
We are not responsible for any injury sustained on the property resulting from misuse of facilities or failure to follow reasonable safety guidelines.
Privacy Policy
At The Black Barn At Puketitiri, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
What We Collect
We collect only the information you provide when making a booking: your name, contact details, stay dates, and payment information.
How We Use It
- To process and confirm your booking.
- To communicate with you before, during, and after your stay.
- To provide the services you have requested.
How We Store & Share It
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except where required by law or for the purposes of payment processing.
- Your data is stored securely and will be deleted 3 months after your stay, unless you request otherwise.
